Obituary of Christine M D'Alessio

Christine "Tina" Marie (Perrota) D'Alessio was born October 8, 1942 in Passaic New Jersey. Tina passed away May 12, 2020 surrounded by her loving daughter and devoted sister at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune NJ. Tina was 77 years old. She grew up in Nutley then moved to Belleville in the late 70s where she lived until 2005. She then moved to Lyndhurst and lived in the house where her own mother grew up. Tina lived there until July 2019 when she happily moved to Howell NJ with her daughter Sandra, son in law Rolando and grandson Cristian. Tina worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 17 years before retiring in 2009. She always said it was the best place to work and it never felt like a job. Before that she worked for First DeWitt Savings bank in Belleville for many years. Tina is survived by her loving daughter Sandra, son in law Rolando and the light of her life, her greatest joy, her grandson Cristian; Her sister Marge Jeannotte and brother Thomas (Butch) Perrota and sister in law Ellen, Loving niece Renee and husband Charlie who she affectionalty called 'her handsome man', Nephew Michael whom she shared a birthday with and wife Michelle. Great Aunt to CJ, Marissa, Tommy, Luke Evangeline and Alyssa. Loving Godmother to Maryann, Laura and Lisa. Tina has many many cousins who love her and will miss her terribly. Best Friends Joanne, BettyAnn and Flora will miss the phone calls and laughs shared with her. Tina always knew what to say and how to make things better for everyone. Whether it was a kind smile or a giant hug you always felt the love she gave. She was everyones Aunt. To know Tina was to love her. Tina is predeceased by her parents Sadie and Thomas Perrota who anxiously greeted her in Heaven. Tina's vibrant smile and infectious laugh will live on in the hearts of her family forever. Due to the current Covid crisis, a service will be held at a later time where friends and family will be invited to celebrate the life of Tina In Tina's memory her daughter asks that you donate to a charity of your choice.
