Cousin Tina, Aunt Tina to my daughters. My gossip friend, my occasional lunch date, and the biggest cheerleader of my girls. The years in Lyndhurst granted us the privilege to know the real "Tina". This was the woman who did her face everyday, even if not well. She had the best hair and was always coiffed. Her ability to find the good in a sad story, and turn it around so we'd soon be laughing, will be something I will always treasure. My constant jabbing you in your arm, and you reminding, "Doth, you're hitting my fistula!" Me apologizing, and sadly seconds later in my need to express myself I am jabbing you again. Your love of your grandson was event as your eyes would light with story you shared. The bond between you and Sandra was equally evident. As an observer you were her mother, teacher and best friend. The openness you shared with your daughter has been a goal I hope to someday achieve w/my daughters. The last years between the dialysis and arthritis have been hard, but never once did I hear you complain. You accepted your life challenges w/o a negative word. You looked at each day as a new beginning with fresh opportunity. Now that you are no longer w/us, it is our job to continue living life looking for the laugher, to face difficult life situations with a smile and to love our family. God Bless you Tina. You will be missed.

Aunt Tina, you were not an aunt by blood but aunt by choice. From the start we hit it off, I felt we were one in the same. From our love of babies, our favorite Christmas song by Josh Grobin, and love of family. I will always remember the positive and encouraging words you always gave me. The beautiful outfits you got for the girls, the night you sang along to my families Christmas tradition of the 12 days of Christmas and the best hugs you always gave me (I’m convinced you always hugged me a little tighter then everyone else).. I will miss you always. Now it’s time for you to share that infectious laugh and smile in heaven.
Xoxoxo Crystal

Although we only got the chance to know you for less than a year, we immediately adored you. You exuded warmth. I remember meeting you in your driveway and you gushed about Makenna’s beauty. At Cris’ birthday, you made us feel welcome and wanted all of us to sit and eat and enjoy ourselves. I think the last time you wrote to me, it was to wish Riley a happy birthday. I feel like I got to know you better than I did because of how much your amazing, devoted daughter talks about you. The way she speaks of you, how bottomless her love is for you, the portrait she painted of you as the amazing mom who raised her — they all spoke volumes about how special you are. You will be missed by so many. I promise we will always look after the wonderful family you left behind.

My beautiful Mommy. I miss you more than i ever imagined. I am lost without you. You were my best friend. My coffee partner. My Panera lunch friend. My phone call whenever I got somewhere and my last conversation of the night. My heart hurts so bad. I look at Cristian and see in his eyes how me misses you. I know you are in Heaven with your mommy and that's where you needed to be. No more pain mom. No walker-no dialysis. Just peace and love....everything you deserve! I love you mommy...to the moon and back
