Obituary of Loretta Blake

 

Loretta Blake, born December 21, 1933, passed away at home in Whiting, NJ after a long battle with Parkinson’s on Saturday April 28, 2018. Loretta was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ to Daniel and Edna Mulvaney. Loretta attended Hoboken public schools. Loretta was pre-deceased by both her parents, sister Mildred, and brothers Daniel and Robert.

 

Loretta is survived by her husband Walter of 63 years, son Michael and daughter-in-law Donna. In addition to being a homemaker, Loretta worked in a machine shop, the accounting department of a bus company, a supervisor in a clothing warehouse, and was a real estate salesperson.

 

Loretta was a big animal lover taking in many stray dogs and cats over the years. Loretta loved gambling, whether it was bingo, Atlantic City, the race track or the lottery.

 

Funeral services and burial will be private.
