During WW2 Fred's father was stationed in Arkansas while serving in the Army Air Corps. Born on March 18th, 1944 in Walnut Ridge, Bette and Karol welcomed a blue eyed rebel they called Fredrick Bland Wiebesiek. Fred grew up in Cranford, NJ. He had a love for music, movies and cars. He was an amazing athlete and excelled in football and baseball. Fred went to Cranford High School and in 1965 was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War as a hoisting engineer. Serving his time, he was honorably discharged in 1967, receiving a good conduct medal. Fred was an avid fisherman. His love for Colorado and its overall beauty was something he treasured, when visiting his family there. And those who knew him well cannot forget his great love for the actress Cassandra Peterson a.k.a Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and with that said..."until next time, unpleasant dreams"-Elvira Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, we ask friends and family to make a contribution to the Vietnam Veterans of America
