Obituary of Doris J Howells

Doris J. Howells Doris J. Howells, 73, of Brick NJ passed away on December 25, 2016 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Doris was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Joseph and Clara Wojtowicz on March 25, 1943. She attended Sacred Heart High School. Doris went on to become a legal assistant and worked in Freehold, NJ for many years for the law firm of Davison, Eastman and Munoz (formerly Lomurro, Davison, Eastman and Munoz) where she specialized in the probating of wills and estates. Doris was very active and enjoyed spending time with family, her dog Ciara, and often went on weekly outings to enjoy her life to the fullest. Doris is predeceased her husband, Thomas W. Howells Sr., who passed in 2010. Doris is survived by her sister Claire Corcoran of Brick, NJ, brother Joseph Wojtowicz and his wife Lorraine of Forked River, NJ, son Thomas W. Howells Jr. of Freehold, NJ, daughter Doris Lynn Howells-McKinney of Glenmoore, PA, son Timothy J. Howells and his wife Amy of Jackson, NJ, and 4 grandchildren Garrett Conlan and Owen Shawn McKinney, along with Peyton Orla and Aubrey Shea Howells. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family whom she loved. Doris will be interred at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ with her beloved husband, at a later date. In lieu of flowers as Doris did not want a formal service, donations in her name may be made to the Van Dyke Hospice Program at Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River, NJ, or the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Van Dyke Hospice Program for their excellent care of her in her final days
