The news about Carol took me by surprise as it did for all of you. So sudden, so sad.
She seemed to live life as she wanted. A truly happy soul!!
My condolences to all of you, for your tremendous loss.
Sal was waiting for her with open arms, as were quite a few others, that loved her so.

The news of Aunt Carol's passing filled my heart with sorrow, yet comforted by thoughts of her gentle nature and boundless love. Memories of joyous times in her home, spent at poolside gatherings or basement playdates with cousins, are etched forever on our hearts. Her longing to reunite with Uncle Sal was palpable. While it pains us deeply having lost her abruptly, knowing she is finally at peace with him grants some solace. May you rest in eternal peace, beloved Aunt Carol.

I wish I had the chance to thank you for accepting me & always making me feel welcomed into your family. Though we didn't spend much time together, I felt I had known you & your family for many years. You can see how special & loved you were through their eyes & hearts. You raised amazing loving people & their your & Silvios legacy. I made a promise to you that night in the hospital to always love and take care of Thomas & I always will. May you rest in peace. Mom,
I hate everything about this. My heart is broken but I know that yours is whole again now that you’re with daddy. It’s unfair how somebody like you could taken from us like this. You had so much to give to everyone you knew. You just wanted to share your talents with the world. Even if death, you gave everything you could. The house is not the same without you and right now moving on seems impossible, but we all have a special angel flying around us everyday. I’m thankful for the memories my boys will always have with their Nonna and I will cherish my own for as long as I live. I love you, Mom.

It’s hard to come to terms with your untimely passing. We will never forget your generosity both in life and in death.
You were a loving wife and caregiver to Silvio. The both of you have left behind a wonderful legacy with your children and grandchildren.

Carol, you are gone too soon. I already miss you tremendously. I am reminded of you everywhere I look, everything I see. I know it wasn't your plan to leave as you had to, so I'm hoping you are really enjoying soaring like an eagle, with Sal at your side. You are whole again, now that you are together. We miss you and we love you! When the time comes when we see each other again, I know you will greet me with "Hey, Kiddo, what's up?"
