Patricia A. Groch, 79 of Lanoka Harbor passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2023 at Complete Care at Bey Lea nursing facility in Toms River, NJ. Born and raised in Ewing, NJ, she moved to Lanoka Harbor 25 years ago. She formerly owned and operated, with her lifetime partner, Truda Schleifer, Contempo Press in Ewing, NJ. Patricia was a loving partner, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed going out to eat, playing cards, trips to Atlantic City, and watching the New York Yankees. Daughter of the late Helen Groch, partner of the late Truda Schleifer, mother of the late David Navarro. Patricia is survived by her daughter-in-law Wendy Navarro, granddaughter Nicole Companion and husband Anthony, grandson Christopher Navarro and wife Megan, great-grandson Anthony Companion, as well as her devoted friend and roommate of many years Alice Bell, and many other loving friends. Memorial gathering will be held on March 10, 2023 from 11am- 1pm at Ocean County Cremation 1252 Route 37 West Toms River, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Repass to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
