I was a teacher at Forked River School while Jane was the principal's secretary. She was always a kind, fun loving person who was especially nurturing and helpful to new teachers just starting out. Jane greeted everyone with a smile and had a great sense of humor that made each day more pleasant. Even on the most difficult of days or in pressure situations, Jane had a way of making everything seem better! Another amazing thing about Jane was that she was always so put together with her matching shoes and purses. As young mothers with full time jobs, some of us used to kid Jane that we were lucky to get to school in clean clothes with our hair combed, and there she would be with her blonde hair done perfectly, the latest fashion outfit, and color matched shoes and handbag! Jane was a real asset to Forked River school and will always be remembered fondly.

Every year when our Mom was alive me, Jane and Warren would go to the Smithville Inn right before Christmas

My mother loved keeping a clean house, and making her bed. She changed her comforters for every season, it would only make sense she would purchase her grandchildren comforter sets for Christmas. I found these pictures on her phone

After her Warren passed, me and Jane talked day morning, the afternoon, and at night to make sure she was all tucked away and locked up.
We talked about everything and anything.
She would talk to Savy when she was over. She told Jane the day she passed what Santa had brought her.
Jane loved Rocky the boxer-- She called him Grammy's baby Boy

When we moved to Florida, Jane would come down it was Great having her here. When Amanda, Jane's God son's wife gave birth to Savannah me and her made so many trips to let the dogs out for them, she was a real trooper.
Christmas was awesome Jane had a way to make everyone laugh with sometimes her crazy lines.

Jane was the big sister you would want. She loved telling the stories of how she took care of me when I was a Baby. Being the youngest of five, I guess everyone looked out for me. As I grew up, we became even closer. Lot of good times heading down to her house in Jersey. Although she was not a fisherman when me and her late husband Warren went fishing. Jane was always sitting on the beach reading a book.

Aunt Jane was always good for a laugh. Her laugh was contagious. Many happy memories as our families vacationed together in Duck, NC beaching.
I also have a funny memory of being about 12/13 and her enlightening me on what Wawa was because we didn’t have those in the south. The little things that reside in our memories.
