Mom!
Looking through your things it was evident how grateful you were for your children and family. All the pictures, special cards, gifts and personal notes we gave you were tucked away in the many devotionals, prayer books and your bible. If I think back through the years while going through pictures of all the fun, love, compassion and understanding you shown for us growing up. Your NEVER ending caring for others was enormous even while you were in the hospital you were making sure your "roommate" was ok. You were prim and proper and never swore, you had to make sure your clothes were just so and your hair done every week at the salon. You were a blessing to me and Ada when needed and was ALWAYS there with a helping hand. While Ada and I miss you so, we know you are with our Heavenly Father and ALL your family that left you too soon. I know you are, enjoying the time with your mom, dad, sister and brother and our dad. May you cherish the perfect person you are now and send us little signs from time to time so we may smile. I saw my first sign while at church- where a butterfly was the back drop for the words of one of our worship songs- NEVER saw that before and knew it was you! We will miss our Sunday morning calls when you would ask "Are you or Ada singing in church this week" or our routine dinner time phone calls each night because you knew I was done with work- Ada misses that the most. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
