Obituary of Ann John Cannella

Ann (John) Cannella 82, of Whiting, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Born in New York City, she raised her family in Sayreville, NJ, lived in Mays Landing, NJ and New Port Richey, FL before moving to Whiting, NJ in 2002. Ann worked as a telephone operator for NJ Bell (Verizon) for over 20 years before retiring. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Cannella in 1978. She is survived by her loving children, Daniel Cannella (Kathy), Randall Cannella, and Nancy McGrath (Mark) and grandchildren, Autumn Cannella Rebasti (Michael), Daniel Cannella, Matthew Cannella (Anna), Robert and Sean McGrath and great grandchild, (Samuel Rebasti). Ann was a strong and independent woman right up until the end. She dedicated her whole life to her children and grandchildren and was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever ask for. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Ocean County Cremation Service, 1252 Rt. 37 West, Toms River.
