Obituary of Margaret Ann Ryan

A loving wife, wonderful mother of three and grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren, Margaret Ann Ryan ascended quietly into heaven on July 8, 2022. She was 80 years old. A resident of Long Beach Island for over 20 years and a former resident of Mt. Laurel, Margaret loved building sandcastles on the beach with her grand-babies and later took great pride in watching them play their various sports and activities. She was incredibly loving, selfless and active, and will always be remembered by family and friends for her kind-heartedness. She is survived by Larry, her husband of 59 years; her three children, Larry, Patty (husband Ron Shields) and Steven (wife Amber); and her beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Jake, Daniel, Megan, Delaney, Tyler and Colin. Rest peacefully, Margaret, as your memory and legacy are alive and well in all who continue to whole-heartedly cherish and love you. Memorial services will be privately held and the family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Margaret’s name to Autism Speaks at autismspeaks.org.
