Obituary of Wendy Sue Gonnella

Wendy Sue Gonnella, 55, of Lanoka Harbor, NJ on 3/19/2021, passed peacefully in her daughter's home in Barnegat, NJ. Born September 26th, 1965 in Morristown, NJ to her loving parents Alfred and Patricia Hofmann. Wendy had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time making memories with family and friends. She was a proud grandma and loved playing and cuddling with her little man, Jaxson. A book-keeper by trade, she had a true passion and talent for painting and crafts. She truly loved spending summers at the camp where she would take in the spectacular views while relaxing lakeside. An avid animal lover, she charmed the hearts of fur babies and people alike. Wendy is survived by her mother Patricia Hofmann; daughter Paige, husband Ian & grandson Jaxson Miciek; son Cole Gonnella; sister Linda Hofmann & husband Keith Wiegand; sister Karen & husband Ray Morlock; brother Alfred L. Hofmann; nephews Ryan, Tyler & Brent Hofmann; niece Kandis & husband Matthew Mroz and their children Crystal, Julia, Constance and Matthew; and Wendy’s partner of over 25 years, Rick Schoepher. She was preceded in death by her father Alfred A. Hofmann; her son Drew Gonnella; and her grandparents Leon & Ruth VanAlstine and Adolf and Rose Hofmann.
