Obituary of Michael F Gable

Michael F. Gable, born April 16, 1950, son of the late Marion and Alfred Gable, died on Sunday, July 26, 2020, only a few months after celebrating his 70th birthday. He is survived by his wife Henrietta, children Jennifer and Michael; step-children Kendra and Matthew; grandchildren Quoya, Zaela and Madison; siblings Linda Taylor, Geoffrey Gable, and Robin Scrivana; best friend Ed Hannaman; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Michael was a talented artist, actor, cook, musician and writer who always encouraged others to follow their passions and be true to themselves. For most of his working years, he was a supervisor for the New York Times. He was looked up to and loved by many people in his life- as a son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who have known and loved him. In honor of Michael’s life, and as he wrote in a musical he created in his youth, may we all “M.E.L.M.U.--Make Every Living Moment Unforgetable”.
