To Patti and the Smith Family: You have my deepest condolences on the loss of Richard. (known to many affectionately as Smitty) I worked with him for many years in the NJ Air National Guard at McGuire Air Force Base. He was a pleasure to work with, he was a consummate professional, he was a kind and fair man to all he worked with and was highly respected. Dear Patti and family, we are sad to learn of Richard passing. I had the pleasure of serving with him for several years. He served his state and Nation with distinction. Barbara and I offer our Deepest Sympathy. Brig. Gen. & Mrs. Dutko.
