Janet Ann Dinverno (nee Verano), 73 of Barnegat, NJ passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2020 from a year long extensive illness. Born in Newark, Janet resided in Belleville for many years , before moving to Barnegat 10 years ago. She is survived by her loving Husband of 53 years, Frank Sr. , and beloved sons, Frank Joseph Jr. & Christopher James. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Judith Paolini (nee Verano) as well as beloved Sister-in Law to Richard & Josephine Fetch (nee Dinverno) & Geraldine Wagner (nee Dinverno). Janet was blessed with Nephews, Richard Fetch Jr, Anthony Fetch & Patrick Paolini Jr & Nieces, Lisa Cashin, Deborah Arocho, Michelle Leon, Danielle Smeraldo, and Sherri Sochaski (nee Paolini) Also survived by her beloved “grand” nieces & nephews, who Janet considered grandchildren, Angelica, Jon & Joseph Arocho, As well as Robert & Ryan Cashin, Marissa Elwood, Nicole Fetch, Kim Riccardi and Anthony Fetch Jr. Also survived by 2 great-great nephews, Jackson & Nolan Elwood. Janet was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore James & Concetta Verano (nee Restaino), Father & Mother-Law, Anthony & Florence Dinverno (nee Suppa) & Brother-in-Law Patrick Paolini Sr. Janet attended St. Augustine’s & St. Michael’s Catholic schools then on to graduate from Barringer High School, Newark. As an Administrator, Janet’s first job was for Prudential Life Insurance, downtown Newark, then on to working in the front offices of Barringer High School for over 15 years. She then retired in 2010 after 20 years from Hoffman La Roche Pharmaceuticals, Nutley NJ. Janet had NO other more important job than caring for her 3 boys! Being a devoted & loving Wife & Mother with endless Italian cooking.. Janet married her lifelong childhood sweetheart, Frank. They would go on to being blessed as the first couple to get married in the newly built Holy Family Church, Nutley in 1966. Among other things, Janet’s pleasures were ceramics, “Days of Our Lives”, a good blackjack table, Saturday nights on the dock listening to an oldies band, & of course Disney World for over 40 years!! Visitation & Funeral Services to be held at a later date.
