Obituary of Michael Thomas Oettinger

 

 

Michael Thomas Oettinger died unexpectedly on the morning of May 16, 2019 in Whiting, New Jersey where he resided. He was a lifelong electrician who began working with his father at the age of 14. He later took over his father's business servicing residents in Ocean County. He enjoyed being outdoors; camping , fishing, BBQ's, playing with his dogs, and the time he was able to spend with his family. He was born to Robert Patrick and Gertrude Rose Oettinger on May 2, 1958. He is survived by his son Michael R. Oettinger (Hazlet, NJ) and his two granddaughters Addison and Lilyana. He also leaves behind two older brothers, Robert Oettinger, Joseph Oettinger, and two sisters Diane Hornsteiner and Lorraine Conti; as well as six nieces and five nephews:  Paula, Kerry, Brooke, Kiersten, Ashley, Breanne, Robert, Joseph, Damon, Jimmy, and Brian .

Services For Michael will be held on Saturday June 1, 2019  from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm at the Church of Grace and Peace, 1563 Old Freehold Rd Toms River NJ . With a private repass for immediate Family to follow.
