Obituary of Michael F Looby

 

Michael F Looby, 67, a resident of Toms River, NJ passed  away on December 31, 2018 at the Hackensack Memorial Ocean Medical Center.  He was born on March 25, 1951 to parents Francis J and Mary E (Huggins) Looby in Philadelphia, PA.  He was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Class of 1969 and a proud member of their Crew Team. From his high school days his life involved food service.  His early days were at the Llanerch Diner, in Upper Darby, PA and the Lamplighter, in Havertown, PA. He went on to be Northeast Regional manager for Wawa. He was the manager of IHOP restaurants in the Toms River area until his retirement.

He is survived by his siblings: Sr Kathleen Looby IHM, Patricia (Frank) Cotton, Mary Ellen (Fred dec.), Cecilia (Chris) Leahan, Francis J Looby (Annette) and Harry J Looby (Karen) along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be private.
