Obituary of Raymond P Wymer

 

Raymond P. Wymer - 82, of Silver Ridge Park West in Toms River, NJ. died on Sunday morning; November 25th, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Ellwood City, PA. he lived in Pennsylvania for 32 years before moving to New Jersey in 1968. He lived mostly in Ocean Twp. and Neptune City before moving to Toms River in 2006. When he moved to New Jersey he was a mechanic for his own business called R&W Garage in Oakhurst, as well as assisting in many other local garages. He also worked at Middlebrook Apartments in Ocean Twp. as a Superintendent for 9 years. He was then employed at Coin Depot in Avon as an Armored Guard for 11 years before retiring in 2001. He was a devoted Husband, Dad, Uncle, and Pop-Pop. He was always there for his family and friends; anyone who needed help he was there with his truck full of tools. He enjoyed fishing, drawing & painting, watching tv, collecting fishing & antique items from garage sales (as well as many other things), repairing anything that needed to be fixed, and playing with his grandkids.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; Chester & Adella Wymer, and brother; Donald Wymer. Surviving are his wife of 37 years; Susan, his son; Christopher Wymer & wife Nichole of Brick, his daughter; Krystle Glogoza & husband Michael of Beachwood, his 4 grandkids; Alyssa, Hunter, Christian & Cameron, and his brother; Robert Wymer & wife Margie of Ellwood City, PA.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2nd from 1-3pm at Ocean County Cremation Service in Toms River, NJ. (1252 Route 37 W. Toms River, New Jersey)
