Obituary of Sally A Popowski

Sally A. (Sciacca) Popowski, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 2, 2017 at her home in Mays Landing, New Jersey. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York. She was a class of 1956 graduate at Lexington School for the Deaf in New York. In October 1959, Sally married to Charles A. Popowski and raised three sons: Stephen (deceased), Ron, and Tom (deceased) in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey. After all three young kids started school at New Jersey School for the Deaf, she worked many years as a factory laborer in industrial areas in Meadowlands, including Moonachie, Carlstadt, E. Rutherford and Lyndhurst before landing her best office job with COACH Leather Corporation before her retirement. Upon their retirement in 2001, Sally and Charles moved to Everett, Washington and spent 8 years there before moving back to New Jersey in 2009. Sally is survived by Charles, Ron and his three children: Sima, Trista and Trent. Thanks to many of you who have enriched her life filled with good spirits and happiness.
