Obituary of Elsie J Walko

Elsie Jane Walko, 82 of Forked River, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who captured the hearts of anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She had a unique way of making everyone feel so special. She would light up a room with her radiant smile and contagious laugh.

Elsie is survived by her husband, Stephen Walko, by her son Kenneth Blackman, by her daughters Diane Giovanniello, Debbie Terefenko and her husband Ken Terefenko, her sister Patricia Herrington and her late brother Francis Boyle, and her grandchildren Tiffany, Samantha, and her grandson Brandon, who is reunited with her in heaven watching over us, and many close relatives and friends.   

The world lost a beautiful soul and a truly one of a kind person. She leaves behind countless happy memories with all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
