Eric Heun, 88, of Edison, NJ, (formerly of Manchester, NJ and Glendale, NY) passed away on July 3, 2018. Born February 18, 1930, in New York City, he was the son of the late Oscar Heun and Minna (Habenicht) Heun. 

He is survived by two sons and one daughter; Kenneth Heun and his wife Jean of Mount Royal, NJ, Karen (Heun) Hoops and her husband Thomas of Edison, NJ, Brian Heun and his wife Lori of Exton, PA; and three grandchildren Matthew Hoops, Brittany (Hoops) Erskine and her husband Ryan Erskine, and Cameron Heun. He is predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (Zehl) Heun. 

A memorial service will be conducted at 12 noon on Saturday, July 14, at the New Apostolic Church, 929 Putnam Avenue, Plainfield, NJ. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service, Toms River.
