When my dearest Aunt Helen comes to mind, the corners of my mouth uncontrollably curve upwards....her memory instantly turns a frown upsidedown! When we last spoke it was Mother's Day last year and she was doing Spring cleaning in a great mood and sounded like her old "young" self.
Shelly, Mikey, Natalie and Noelle, Charlie and Family, Jalice and Family and Eli and soon to be Family, I know you will keep her close in your hearts and memory but that doesn't help the void that you are feeling now.
Michele, especially you who so selflessly cared for her all these many months and years. When my mother was ill, it was an truly an honor to have taken care of her. I'm sure you feel that, but it makes the loss so much harder because the little moments that now seem like great moments are gone.
Helen was loved, by everyone who knew her. I feel so blessed to have had her as my Aunt and God Mother, it is truly fitting that God called her home on Easter to be with JoAnn, Marilyn, Grandma, Nonnie, Aunt Lee and so many other Angels.
I wish you all the strength to get through this and in time, peace knowing we will all be reunited some day when we can all reminisce in heaven together, I am remembering and cherishing all the wonderful times with our families and priceless memories I am so fortunate to have of her and all of you!!!
