Valerie Murphy graced Heaven on March 25, 2017. Valerie was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and loving family when she passed at her home in Whiting. She was born Valerie Joan Fiorello on May 3, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY. Valerie married Dominic Murphy and resided in Staten Island, NY. She was blessed with three children, Margaret DiCarlo, Dominic Murphy Jr. and Stephanie Abrecht. Valerie was predeceased by her husband of many years, Dominic. Along with her children, she is survived by her sister, Lois Williams, who will deeply miss her.
