Obituary of Kathryn Anne McCaffrey

Kathryn Anne McCaffrey (Tynan), longtime resident of Surf City passed away on November 23rd, 2015 in her home at the age of 90. Kathryn was born and raised in New Rochelle, NY. She was married to Edward Francis McCaffrey in 1947, they raised 5 children in New Rochelle and retired to Surf City, New Jersey in 1977. In addition to her children, she had 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, daily Mass, exercising and gardening. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, of 54 years and her daughter Deborah Terzaken. She is survived by John Terzaken and family, Kathleen Byrnes (Stephen) and family, Edward McCaffrey (Linda) and family, Mary Flynn and family, Dennis McCaffrey (Eve) and family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Kathryn’s life on Saturday November 28th. There will be a funeral Mass at 11AM at St Francis Church in 4700 Long Beach Blvd, Brant Beach NJ 08008.
