Obituary of James Joseph Brelsford

James Joseph Brelsford, age 57, of Bayville,NJ, passed away July 4th, 2026. He lived in Bayville his entire life.He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Brelsford, his grandparents Paul Kerins,Helen and Robert Voerth, and Sylvia Brelsford, his Aunts Annemarie Vogler and Melody Mugler, his Uncles Dale Pierce and Thomas Brelsford, his cousin Cheri Pierce, his brother-in-law John Newbon and his furbabies Jewel,Jazz and Panther. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Brelsford, his sisters, Jill Brelsford, Jodi Feist(Rick) and Jacki Newbon and brothers, Joseph Brelsford and Joshua Brelsford, his Aunts Darlene Pierce and Priscilla Brelsford,10 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, and a number of cousins. He loved children and animals. He believed in helping people and was very generous to many others in their time of need. He was a lifelong painter who was very proud of a job well done. He was a fan of boxing, but an avid fan of football. He was loyal to the Redskins (Commanders). No matter what their stats, he remained a loyal fan and always wore his Redskins cap. More recently he wore his Commanders cap. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and those that enjoyed running into him on his weekend shopping trips. A Memorial/Celebration of his life will be done at a date, yet to be determined.
