Obituary of Patricia Ann Frielinghaus

Patricia Ann Frielinghaus, 83, of Brick, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Born on April 26, 1942, in Newark, New Jersey, and the firstborn of six children, she spent her early life caring for and helping raise her siblings. She was the beloved wife of her husband, Edward Frielinghaus, for nearly six decades. After marrying, she would move to Kearny, New Jersey, then to Brick, New Jersey, where she would spend the remainder of her life. She was a homemaker who ensured that her family always came home to a place of comfort. She enjoyed music, arts and crafts, boating, going to the beach, and tending to her garden in her backyard. She was a very sociable person who enjoyed meeting and talking to new people. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene (Kelusak) Pietrucha and Edward Pietrucha, her husband Edward Frielinghaus, and her brother Edward Pietrucha, Jr. and sister Joyce Willis. She will be forever held in the hearts of her loving family, her son Edward Frielinghaus, Jr. and his wife Nancy, her son Robert Frielinghaus and his wife Cherie; her sisters, Mary Timinski, Helen Connaughton, and Rene Pietrucha; her grandson Christopher Frielinghaus; and her nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X RC Church, 300 Lacey Rd., Forked River, New Jersey. An inurnment ceremony will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, 62 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, New Jersey. Friends and family are
